OKAY SO Jaz and I have been plunking away figuring out how best to approach and streamline the comic and I have learned a lot from reading up on other peoples processes. Perving on them, if you will.

Because to be honest, even when I was at two pages a week I was no where near as efficient as I could be. Going by thumbnails/scene and the most effective workload for both efficiency and keeping things consistent in particular scenes, it’s looking like doing the groundwork for 4-6 pages at a time depending on the scene is 100% the way to go.

This is daunting in some ways, but exciting in others. I’ll be occupied for what I estimate to be 2-3 weeks at a time. Vague estimates on workload such as ( 1 day –> thumbs, 4-5 days –> sketch, 2 days –> inks, 2-3 days –> background elements while Jaz works her magic on colors, and 2 days on assembly?)

BUT I would have the comic pages for the next month/month and a half. And once I’m fully acclimated I will have a considerable backlog! AND if I get comfortable and speedy enough, this could lead to two updates a week!

I really want to do this and am pretty serious about it. So much so I finally did something I’ve been meaning to do for ages!

Heartcore finally has its own unique font in my handwriting. HOORAY~ I made it available on Patreon and there’s no restrictions on its use. It’s called “Devil Drive” after Ame’s signature attack and also because I’m a weenie.

I really want Heartcores releases to get stronger and faster and I appreciate the patience!

I WILL also be feeding some fun things for Jaz to color during the interim anyway, so I won’t be going silent exactly, HAHAH. Some of these have appeared on Patreon/dA/Twitter already!
